  15. The Colorado SCSI PowerTapes are not directly supported in Windows NT and
  16. they are not on the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). However, the
  17. Colorado SCSI PowerTapes can be configured to work under Windows NT. The
  18. actual hardware is manufactured by Colorado Memory Systems and the firmware
  19. for the tape drives are made by Tandberg, which is on the HCL.

  21. The following list describes the Colorado PowerTape models and itÆs
  22. compatible Tandberg Tape Drive Model:

  24.    PowerTape 2 GB Model PT25 - Tangberg TDC 4100
  25.    PowerTape 4 GB Model PT50 - Tandberg TDC 4200

  27. Steps to Install the PowerTape under Windows NT

  30. 1. Select the Windows NT Setup Icon from the Main Group and start the setup
  31.    program.

  33. 2. Select Options from the Menu.
  34.  
  35. 3. Choose ADD/Remove Tape Devices.
  36.  
  37. 4. From the Tape Device Setup dialog box choose the Add button.
  38.  
  39. 5. From the Select Tape Devices Dialog Option Box, select the devices drop
  40.    down box arrow.
  41.  
  42. 6. Then Select the Tandberg 3669, 3829, 4120, 4220 driver.

  44. 7. Now select the Install Button and follow the instructions.
